How to become a Club Coach (Former level 1) If you are interested in becoming a coach you will need to complete the following steps: Step 1 Contact your State Association and find out when the next coaching course will be held nearest to you. Step 2 You will be required to do two components to become a club coach. As a pre-requisite you will be required to complete 'Beginning General Principles in Coaching'. This is required to be completed within 6 months prior to the coaching course or after for you to become a coach. You can do this course on line (it takes approx 4-6 hours). Step 3 On completion of the general principles you will be able to print off a completion certificate, take the certificate with you to the coaching course if completed prior to the course or once completed take your certificate to the course administrator for processing as a club coach. |
