How to become a Competition Coach (Formerly Level 2)

You will need to have been a Club Coach (Level 1) for a minimum of 2 years.

Contact your State Secretary or State Coaching Director for the next available Level 2 Coaching Course in your state.

Once accredited with the Australian Sports Commission, you will be registered as a competition coach for four years. You will be supplied with a wallet size ID card with your details and a record card to record your coaching lessons which will be required to be signed off by a committee member of the club where you hold the lessons or a coach of a higher level.

Renewal
When your four years are due to expire you will need to forward your record card to the ACTA to renew for a further four years. You will be reissued with a new ID card for the next four years.

If you require further information please contact our office on 0269 382 121.

The renewing process is currently under review and the new process will be made available as soon as possible.
