Skeet - World - Australian Teams

AUSTRALIAN SKEET TEAM TO NSSA WORLDS SELECTION CRITERIA

Qualifying Events – National 20 gauge Championship 100 Targets, National Skeet Handicap 50 Targets, Commonwealth Skeet Championship 100 Targets, and National 12 Gauge Skeet Championship 100 Targets (x 450 targets) .

 Team – Team of 5 open shooters with 5 reserves.

 Eligibility – Subject to eligibility for Australian team selection (financial member of the ACTA, hold Australian citizenship, and be a resident of Australia).

 Ties – to be decided by count forward starting with the scores of the National Skeet Handicap, the first target missed is used to eliminate. If this does not get a result the same process will be applied to the Commonwealth Skeet Championship, and then the National 12 gauge Skeet Championship, or ties may be determined by the shoot off if agreed to by the Tournament Director.

 Selection Years – Teams are selected bi-annually each even year to represent at the Worlds in that same year. Eg 2022 selection to represent at the World Skeet Championships in 2022. 2024 selection to represent at the 2024 Worlds.

 Uniforms – The Team will be provided with a suitable Team uniform as per the ACTA uniforms policy.
