Shooting Achievements:

Jack joined the Cecil Park Clay Target Club in 2010 and had his first competition in American Skeet at a C grade level on 12 February 2011. His first competition with a placing was achieved on 6 August 2011, where he was awarded 2nd place in C grade with a score of 86/100 at the New South Wales Gun Club.
The following are a list of results in American Skeet at Club level:
8 October 2011 - 2nd place C grade, with a score of 91/100 at Cecil Park.
13 November 2012 - 5th place C grade, with a score of 90/100 at the skeet carnival held at Cecil Park.
4 February 2012 - 2nd place B grade, with a score of 94/100 at NSW Gun Club.
10 March 2012 - 2nd place B grade, with a score of 96/100 at Cecil Park.

There were 2 major competitions in American Skeet in 2012 which Jack competed in, they were the National Skeet Championships and the NSW State Skeet carnival.

22-25 May 2012 - National Skeet Championships in Wagga Wagga, his results were;
Handicap 45/50
Commonwealth Skeet 99/100
National Skeet, including the Aust/NZ Skeet postal challenge 97/100
Skeet Doubles 92/100

Jack received the following results;
Winner of the Commonwealth Skeet Championship - B grade
Australian Junior Team member of the Postal Mackintosh Competition between Australia and New Zealand
Skeet break badge for 75 straight targets
Shoot off for Junior High Gun for the Commonwealth Skeet Championship against Eddy Elder from Victoria (Jacke advance to A grade in American Skeet).

22 July 2012, Jack qualified for the Cecil Park junior team to represent his club at the upcoming NSW 2012 State Skeet Carnival.
10-12 August 2012 was the NSW 2012 State Skeet Carnival at the National Shooting grounds in Wagga Wagga. Jack competed in the following 3 events;

NSW Skeet Doubles, with a score of 44/50
NSW Skeet Handicap, with a score of 45/50
NSW Skeet Championship, with a score of 98/100

Jack's total score for events 2 and 3 enabled him to be selected as the second member of the 3 person, NSW junior Skeet team 2012.
After the Skeet Nationals 2012, Jack started focusing on Olympic Skeet. For 3 months Jack practiced this discipline and participated in Olympic Skeet at the Youth National Championships, 7-9 December at the Sydney International Shooting Centre, Cecil Park. There was 1 Olympic Skeet event, consisting of 125 targets, with his score being 89/125. Jack participated in the final of the Olympic Skeet, with a score of 18/25. With Jack's final score, he was awarded second place in the 12-16 year age bracket and received a silver medal.

After some further training in Olympic Skeet in January 2013, Jack returned to American Skeet to concentrate on the 2013 National Skeet Championships which was held in Wagga Wagga in May 2013.

At the Nationals, Jack represented not only his club (Cecil Park) but also NSW in the Junior Skeet team, also Australia in the Australia/New Zealand Postal teams match and was awarded the following medals:
8th in National Skeet Handicap
1st Junior in National Skeet Handicap
3rd in A grade for the Commonwealth Skeet Championship
2nd in A grade for the National Skeet Championship
Junior High Gun for the International Skeet Team
B grade High Gun for the National Skeet Championship.

Other Interests: Camping, Fishing, Hunting and motor bikes
Other Personal Info: Jack is a year 10 student and intends to complete years 11 and 12. This year (2013) his school inducted him into their Sporting Hall of Fame for his achievements in clay target shooting.
