ACTA Transgender Participation Policy

ACTA has released a Transgender Participation Policy. This policy identifies the differentiation between competitive and social participation and determines the requirements for individuals wishing to compete in ACTA sanctioned competitions and teams at zone, state, national and international level.

ACTA Strategic Plan

This Strategic Plan has been prepared to provide the ACTA with a clear list of actions for them to undertake to take advantage of the opportunities they have and to address the challenges that they face.

As with any sporting organisation the ACTA operates in a dynamic environment and this plan provides a roadmap for the organisation to react to future changes in that environment and to ensure a successful future.

Updates to the National Championship Cancellation Policy

ACTA National Championships will proceed and be recognised as official National Championships, provided that at least eighty percent (80%) of ACTA registered shooters are able to attend the shooting range at which the Championships are to be held, unimpeded by Government regulations with the following conditions:

PRIOR TO THE EVENT:
That there is no Border / Regional Closure announcement that will affect more than 20% of ACTA registered shooters:

  • At a minimum, three full days prior to the advertised closing date for event nominations, or
  • Inside 21 days prior to the advertised commencement date of the event,

(whichever timeline is the greater)

AND

POST-COMMENCEMENT OF THE EVENT:
That there is no announcement of any impending Border Closure that will affect more than 20% of ACTA registered shooters to take effect within two days following the completion date of the competition. This condition takes into account the necessity to provide sufficient time for participants to be able to complete their competition and all essential return travel requirements before the date any border(s) are officially shut.

Covid-19 National Hall of Fame Points Qualification Policy
National Hall of Fame Points will be awarded at any ACTA-affiliated State or National Carnival, under the same conditions as applied to the National Championships Cancellation Policy. That is, that at least 80% of ACTA registered shooters must have the opportunity to attend unimpeded by Government directions affecting borders between the hosting State / Territory / Regional Area and other individual States / Territories / Regional Areas.
