Year inducted into the ACTA Hall of Fame: 2011 Craig's journey began in 1982 when he became a member of te Port Augusta gun club in SA and quickly realised the enjoyment of the competition and comradery in the sport of clay target shooting. Winning his first National title in 1986, Mackintosh team high gun shooting off with the great Doug Smith and Jon Whittakers. He become a level two coach in 1996 taking SA junior shooters to state team and Australian national team levels across various disciplines of Trap and ISSF. Craig has completed in all disciplines of the sport and has represented Australia in three of these Trap, Olympic Trap and Olympic Double Trap throughout his 36 years of competition. the first representation in 1992 shooting the World DTL championships in Wales through to the latest in 2018 shooting in the 13th World DTL championships in Wagga Wagga. By 2001, Craig had won all the allocated titles shot at the South Australian state carnival, including high gun, team high gun and SA overall champion, incorporating 32 Trap SA State titles. Overall a total of 52 State Trap titles Australia wide and 16 ISSF State titles to date. Craig was inducted into the SA Hall of Fame in 2012. Shooting Achievements: |
