The ACTA also reserves the right to alter the program
All competitors must present their current shooting licence/permit to the events office before competition. Failure to do so will incur a penalty loss of one target.
Any shooter wanting to compete in the “2025 FITASC COMPAK Sporting Clays Nationals” must be a registered competitor of the ACTA for the financial year 2025, or a bonified international competitor.
Entry is by pre-nomination only through MCMS (MyClubsMyScores). Squadding will be available Friday 21st November 2025.
Late nominations will be taken on the day for an additional charge of $20 per event but only if there are vacancies available. Note that there are caps on events.
Shooters on the waiting list who withdraw from event prior to commencing will be eligible for a full refund of the event nomination. Any shooters who do not commence competition for an event will not be entitled to any refund for that event.
MCMS will automatically grade all entrants, in the case of insufficient data the decision will be made by the National MCMS Handicap Supervisor after the first 50 targets for English Sporting and 100 targets after the Compak events.
Squads of up to 6 competitors will shoot brackets of 25 targets per visit to the traps using the squad rotation system. Where sufficient numbers exist, the Universal system of shooting will be used. For English Sporting, a back through system will be employed.
Shooters will be advised squad rotations and referees allocations.
Each shooter is to take enough cartridges to shoot at the 25 Targets per layout.
Squads are not to be changed as pre-squadded shooters will be notified prior to the event, but this is not guaranteed and non-compliance by a shooter is able to be re-squadded - a penalty loss of one target will apply to that event.
Shooters are not to re-enter their squad slot, if withdrawal from the event they will not be eligible for any refund. It is the shooter's responsibility to make sure they are where they should be and when.
Shooters are required to referee/score during the period of competition. The names of designated shooters will be known but failure of obligation will result in penalties. Substitutes and scorecards are permissible, if the replacement does not fulfill the obligation, the penalty of a penalty target for that event will be made against the officially designated shooter.
Any unauthorized shooter interfering with or attempting to interfere with the trap will be penalized targets for that event.
Appeals will be lodged within thirty minutes of any protested target/score together with a $50 appeal fee. The protest shooter and the party protested against shall be called before the appeal committee for investigation. The appeal fee is refunded only if the appeal is upheld.
Medals and trophies will be awarded as events can Open, Women, Junior, Seniors, Veterans (1st, 2nd, 3rd as specified), the overall winner cannot take any grade prize.
All ACTA competitions are subject to ACTA rules. Tournament director is to adjudicate.
All competitors must comply with the Firearms Laws of the State hosting the National Championships.
Shooters are to match the events at the programme for the event. The organizing committee reserves the right to alter the event.
Squadding and event variables will not be available on MCMS. It is the shooter's responsibility to monitor for changes as required or be subject to nomination loss.
An "accepted shooters concession" for the FITASC Compak Championship; in any discipline shall be able to shoot for the cost of the admin fee only of $10 per event. For this concession the winner is not recognized, not eligible for medals or team selection.
The setting of targets will be under the direction of the Shoot Marshal. No tutor/adviser permitted unless approved by the Tournament Director and Shoot Marshal.
All photographs and promotional images published must be in the public domain and not be used for commercial or promotional purposes. The use of images and photos provided by the taking of photos/videos is in accordance with use and purpose of the ACTA by-laws and policies.

ACTA/ASSA Junior Initiative
A joint venture to promote junior participation for Skeet Shooting in Australia
Prize: 1st Place $1,000 and 2nd Place $500
Eligibility: Under the age of 18 years at the start of the Skeet Nationals and an ACTA member.
Criteria: Any 100 target score from any State or Territory 12g State title of any State carnival. Submit as many State 12g scores as you like and use the best one. Plus the combined scores of the National – Handicap, 20g, 12g and Commonwealth events.Eg:100+350=450 targets total. Best two scores win.
Commencement: 1st April 2024 until the completion of the 2025 Skeet Nationals
Additional awards include: FITASC Five Person Club Team Event, Two Person Team Event;
Two Women Team Event; Mixed Pairs Team Event; All Australian Skeet Team
HIGH GUNS on Events 3 to 7:
OVERALL; GRADED AA, A, B, C; WOMENS; JUNIOR; SUB JUNIOR & VETERANS. Glenn Trophy team to be selected over events 4, 5 and 6. (To compete at home nationals in 2026)
World USA Team to be selected over events 3, 4, 5 and 6. (Not selected in 2025)
